This article is about how to remove or add EZ-Pages. Shortly, EZ-Pages are the manually created links on different parts of your store and when clicked the user goes to that ‘easy page’ from that ‘easy’ created link.
EZ-Pages are to be configured via Zen Cart back-end->Tools->EZ-Pages.
The standard places where these easy links can be placed are:
- header (on the top of the page),
- special EZ-Pages sidebox (right or left box called ‘Important Links’ managed through Tools->Layout Boxes Controller->sideboxes/ezpages.php),
- footer (on the bottom of the page),
- TOC (Table of contents).
Let us consider that we are wishing to remove EZ-Pages from the free Bask template. The links managing is the same for all the other zen cart friendly templates.
So, in the begining the BaskBlack header looks as:
We are willing to remove the ‘EZPages’, ‘Privacy notice’, ‘Shared’, ‘Zen cart’.
Thus, going to Tools->EZ-Pages:
we click on green squares under Header column of all the mentioned links – they turn to red dissapearing in the store front.
